Cancellation Policy- Treveliz

At Treveliz, we understand that travel plans do not always go as expected. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling flight bookings made through www.treveliz.com. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a cancellation. All cancellation requests are subject to the policies of the respective service provider. For information on refund eligibility and processing, please refer to our separate Refund Policy.

1. Cancellation Process

1.1 How to Cancel

All cancellations must be initiated by contacting our Customer Service team by phone at +1 (888) 534-0986. Cancellations cannot be processed through your Treveliz account or by any other method. Please have your booking reference number and relevant details ready, including traveller names and travel dates. Cancellation requests must be submitted within the timeframe specified by the service provider's policy. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in the loss of any right to a refund or travel credit.

1.2 Documentation

For certain bookings, particularly those departing outside the US or Canada, or those using credit cards issued outside these countries, Treveliz may request a credit card authorisation form and proof of identity such as a driving licence or passport. If these documents are not provided within 24 hours, the booking may be automatically cancelled.

2. Cancellation Charges

Cancellations may incur post-ticketing service charges in addition to any penalties imposed by the service provider. All charges collected by Treveliz are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the cancellation request.

Additional service provider charges, such as cancellation penalties or fare differences, may also apply in accordance with their individual policies. Customers are responsible for verifying these charges directly with the provider. For a full list of charges, including change and modification fees, please refer to our Refund Policy.

3. Special Considerations

3.1 Non-Refundable and Non-Changeable Bookings

Most services, including low-cost carrier tickets and basic economy fares, are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-cancellable, even within 24 hours of booking. This is clearly stated during the booking process. Cancellations may still incur the charges listed above, and no refund or credit will be issued unless expressly authorised by the service provider.

3.2 Travel Credits

Where a service provider permits cancellation, a travel credit may be issued in place of a refund, subject to the provider's terms, expiry dates, and applicable fare differences. Credits must be used within the timeframe specified by the provider or they will be forfeited. Please contact our Customer Service team to confirm credit details.

3.3 No-Show Policy

If a booking is not cancelled before the deadline specified by the service provider, such as a flight departure, it will be treated as a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund or travel credit.

3.4 Cancellations by Treveliz

In the unlikely event that Treveliz cancels a booking for operational reasons, we will offer suitable alternatives or work with the service provider to facilitate a refund or credit, subject to their policies.

3.5 Force Majeure

Cancellations arising from unforeseen events such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions are subject to the service provider's policies. Treveliz will assist in coordinating with the provider but does not accept responsibility for the outcome.

3.6 System Errors

In the event of a pricing error on www.treveliz.com, Treveliz reserves the right not to honour the incorrect price. Customers will be notified of the correct price and will not be obligated to proceed with the booking.

4. Travel Documentation

Customers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documentation, including passports, visas, and vaccination certificates, for all services. Failure to present the required documentation may result in the service provider cancelling the booking without any right to a refund or credit.

5. Travel Insurance

Treveliz strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations. Coverage may include medical emergencies, trip interruptions, and other events, subject to the insurer's terms and conditions.

6. Policy Updates

Treveliz reserves the right to update or amend this Cancellation Policy to reflect industry standards or changes in business practices. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication at www.treveliz.com, with the effective date clearly noted.

By booking with Treveliz, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy. For further information on refund eligibility, processing timelines, and additional charges, please refer to our Refund Policy on our website.
